Hudleston Melville Stokes
BIRTH 16 FEB 1903 Mangalore, Karnataka, India

With your skills, I wonder if you can find H.M. STOKES amongst the British Translating Staff at the Nurnberg War Crimes Trials?  He spoke fluent German.
Which Government Ministry would have been facilitating the British team?  The Foreign Office?

Per the Gazette he was an officer in the RAF from 1941 until the 1950's (service number 60235) - his RAF records might shine a light on where he was in the late 1940's.
