How do I contact a Contributor
« on: Saturday 21 November 20 06:51 GMT (UK) »
I found my grandfathers record.  In the 'contributors' box, 'from original database' is displayed.  I would like to add more info to the record.  Who do I contact to do this?

What was the URL (www.   ) that you found the record on?
It really doesn't sound like it was on this  site.

Hi Pauline

here is the url   http://surname.rootschat.com/lexicon/dbsig/dbsig-quick-search.php?dbsig_num=1&surname=HADDLESEY&view=4374

I find Rootschat very confusing.  I don't understand where to post and how to search for relatives.

Hi and welcome to rootschat ;D

In so far as what you are specifically asking about, scroll down to the bottom and there is a box which states "If you have more information about this person, you can add it here (max 158 characters)."

You seem to have managed to ask this question in the right forum...it is a very simple chat forum just spend some time checking it out...not really a "search for relatives" more about help, support, advice and you will some very nice and compedant rootchat researchers

Welcome to Rootschat  ;)

I have found this site very easy to use as everything is headed if you click on 'FORUM' above which will give you lots to choose from including different Countries & Counties.

If you're looking for particular names you can use the 'SEARCH' box at the top of the page.

There's also a 'Surname Interests' category to the bottom of the page.

Tell us what you'd like to find out & I'm sure someone will try to help?
