Hi I just found out my great uncle Thomas Pollock born 1893 in Newtownards N Ireland was in the North Irish Horse 1743 then transferred to Royal Irish Fusiliers 41277 a relation gave me some info that he was a prisoner of war anyone any more info on him ?

His service record does not appear to have survived.  Medal records say he served in 9 Battalion RIF so he may have been in B or C Squadron North Irish Horse as many transferred to that battalion:

He is listed among the  497 other rank  casualties (406 missing) of the massive German onslaught of 21 March 1918 and subsequent days (he was taken on 26 March).
