Hi Sandra,

Thank you - lots to investigate. Sarah's death showing "Fred" Watson as her father I expect refers to Alfred Tudell, as her real father Edwin died sometime between 1860 and 1870.

I wondered if you had any idea of the death of Nellie May Bough (nee Watson) after her husband Frank's death in 1910

If the youngest child, Nellie, was born 1865, then Edwin died between 1864-1870.

You won't find a death record for Edwin. You will need either an obit or funeral home/cemetery record for death date.

The Chicago Fire of October 8, 1871 destroyed all county vital records prior to that date.

Sorry I didn't see Nellie after the arrest in reply 10 when she was taken to Indiana Harbor.
She would have been young enough to marry again but no trace so far.

Indiana Death - Edwin F Bough - 17 November 1882 Chicago Illinois - 2 October 1924 (aged 41 years) Crown Point Lake Indiana.
Father John Bough - Illinois -  Mother Nellie Watson - Illinois - Spouse Emma Bough
Burial Oak Hill Cemetery.
Perhaps the informant was not aware of his fathers name.

I wonder if Edward Bough listed here is meant to be Edwin - date would fit  :-\
