I can find a Broadmuir but not so far a Broadford in Kingoldrum, though there is a Broadford Bridge.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

What was the name of Kathrine' 1st daughter, usually a clue at least to mother' forename?

Did any of the g/children have middle names which can often be a pointer to maiden names?

Hi Annie,
Good question about Kathrine's first daughter!
Kathrine was apparently married to Thomas Stormont (b 1713)in 1759 according to that ever reliable source Ancestry. Their family is listed as Isobel 14 Jan 1760, James 5 Oct 1761, David 23 May 1764,  John 4 Aug 1766 and Alexander 17 March 1769. Isobel therefore appears as the only daughter.
They all come up on the OPR as children of Stormont/Kinnament/Stormonth/Kinninmonth  apart from Isobel viz
14 Jan 1760 Isobel Stormonth OPR 295/10 33 Kingoldrum - Thomas Stormonth in Kinclune had a natural daughter baptized Isobel
No mention of a mother.
