I'm still having problems with this, though sometimes it will show say a list of 5 for a location and then other times only singles.

Something else I have noticed, because I generally look at the map matches in the Midlands, is that I clicked on a 'match' which was roughly in Herefordshire, only to find the place connected to the match was in Hertfordshire.   :o
So perhaps there are some further mix ups there too.

I use chrome btw.

Which goes to show it isn't a browser issue but, unless they get a groundswell of complaints, they won't do anything about it.

As for blobs being in the wrong place, I frequently spot them in various continents when the match's tree is 100% UK and there's no obvious spelling mistake to account for it.

Almost don't want to tempt fate by posting this but the issue seems to have resolved itself (until it starts up again). Just wonder if others also can zoom in on blobs now.

Still playing up. I just use the listings in the tree these days.

It's worked a couple of times for me (yesterday and this morning).

Hopefully they'll work on their 'overtaxed backend' now, as that is still 'overtaxed'  ::)

Hello, just joining this thread in case there are updates.

My issue is different - I am supporting a friend whose tree of many years making fell apart when it got attached to thru-lines. I worked out (mostly) what broke and managed to stitch back a heap of orphan content - luckily it was still there.

However the tree remains very unstable doing things it shouldn't - and I have another friend having issues too. Got through twice to ancestry tech people but they kept repeating basic fixes from their help files which I had already done.

Her tree is currently not attached to DNA now, we have three DNA tests in the pipeline and I am honestly afraid to link them back up again.

On "website down" sites I can see a bunch of issues reported 2 months ago, but nothing since https://downdetector.co.uk/status/ancestry/

Anyhow just joining in with threads in a few places to keep up with any news.
