Illegitimate child of Thomas Watson and Hannah Armitage
« on: Wednesday 25 November 20 20:08 GMT (UK) »
My ancestor Thomas Watson was an innkeeper in Doncaster, Yorkshire. In 1769, he had married Ann Sutcliffe and they had several children before Thomasí death in 1792.

Iíve just found a filiation order for Thomas Watson of the Black Swan Inn in Doncaster. It seems he had fathered a child with Hannah Armitage in or before 1785. The document comes from Godmanchester...

How can I find out who this child was? And maybe find out more about Hannah if possible? Iím assuming she was employed by Thomas at some point and originated from Godmanchester.
