the joy of common names! And non-conformity on top. At least Llangynog Baptist gave some of their records to the Non-parochial Registers Commission. The one in Pembs where some of my ancestors attended doesn't seem to have done so.

Thanks to everyone for your help we have now solved the two big questions
1 does JONES= JOHN?  Answer yes proved as Evan John living at Cwmtycelin had a child rgistered in chapel as John who turns up on the next census with the widower Evan Jones from Cwmtycelin and his new wife
2 does Jane=Harriet? Answer No  they were two wives of the same man we just have not located Jane's death but the marriage to Harriet found by Osprey, shows clearly he was a widower.
The unanswered questions are
1 Where and when was Jane buried?
2 Where was Elizabeth Jones/John in 1841 and 1851
Many thanks you have pushed the tree on two generations with this help :)
