Fine.

I'm sorry you have had 'bad encounters' with Scotland's People.

It is impossible to build a reliable tree of a Scottish family without the original data from Scotland's People.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

That's a transcription. The original can be viewed online at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. It may include additional information, for example the father's residence or occupation.
