hi can someone help me.
im trying to find the birth year of leslie alexander apparently he married maori princess in new zealand i was told this by my great auntie but i cant find no proof.

my great aunt was called violet gilham was born 17 january 1917 in hammersmith to a rose mary file and john joseph richard gilham.

she married james arthur alexander on 14th march 1942.

james arthur alexander was on 11th of march 1908 i think he was born in hendon

There appears to be a UK marriage for the son in the 1980s, but without the marriage cert. can't say for sure if this is the son of James and Violet.
