Stoodly of Waym(outh) = Weymouth (Dorset)

Burnell of Plym(outh)

ADDED – father’s name looks like Yoyen, so perhaps a variant of Ewen/Euan/Eoghan or similar?

You've probably realised, but just in case: The record you've attached isn't for a wedding, but for the publication of intention to marry - the equivalent to banns that was required at the time. The actual wedding is recorded on the next page, as Peeter Studelay and Honnore Burnell, 26 Apr 1654.

Many thanks for your replies.  I came across Gowen/Gowan/Goyen and his wife Joan Lifton and of course Honor's christening all in Plymouth.  This is probably a good indication that this was Honor's parents.  I think I'm very lucky being able to actually find some information this far back!!.

I didn't realise that the attachment was just an intention to marry... I was absolutely glad that the person writing up that information actually had that Peter was the son of Jewell Stoodly(Stoodley, Stoodleigh etc).  :)

Kind regards
