Blunts of Monmouthshire - missing link?
« on: Monday 07 December 20 17:15 GMT (UK) »
The Mitchel Troy OPRs document the baptism in 1796 of James Blunt son of Peter and Mary. That is the only mention of Peter and Mary I have been able to find from online records - so are there more local records elsewhere?

There are several Blunts recorded in the surrounding area and I wonder if Peter was connected in some way to them. The use of the name James appears in other baptisms 1794 Rockfield and 1822 Cwmcarvan, and a James Blount is recorded 1747 Tregare. More evidence of a link?

Peter's and Mary's BMDs must have been recorded elsewhere but where?
