Joseph Barratt parents
« on: Tuesday 08 December 20 00:00 GMT (UK) »
hope someone can help

I'm part of a hug Barratt family and have discovered many  around Cheshire and  Nottingham areas

trying to find the parents of Joseph Barratt born 1724  who married Sarah Clark
their son John Barratt (1771-1856) married Hannah Scattergood - the subject of an older thread on here
hints say father of Joseph is Parson Barratt - my 7th great grandfather
My family line is in Cheshire though so not sure with the connection to Notts.

there's another baptism at the same place, father John, no mother named:

28 9 1706   John Barret    father John

At William's baptism in 1717, John was noted to be a yeoman.

There were several other Barrett families having children baptised in Annesley in the first 20 years of the 1700s -- other fathers' names were Richard, Joshua, Joseph, Samuel.
Bradbury (Sedgeley, Bilston, Warrington)
Cooper (Sedgeley, Bilston)
Kilner/Kilmer (Leic, Notts)

Pryce/Price (Welshpool, Liverpool)
Rawson (Leicester)
Upton (Desford, Leics)
Partrick (Vera and George, Leicester)
