Hi jen b I got the info through a find my past survey via savanta I just thought it was a bit much to expect people to pay extra on top of a 17 quid a month subscription maybe I'm wrong I get that these things cost to reproduce but hey ho tbh I wish I hadn't bothered commenting

That's another choice you can make - don't have a continuous sub, do a month at a time when it suits.

As far as I can see FindMyPast were given the contract to release the 1921 English & Welsh Census in January 2022.

The 1921 Scottish Census(Scotlandspeople)-
Quote
The 1921 census will be released in 2021 after its 100 year closure period has ended.
So after June 2021 ?
If the pricing remains the same , it will be £1.50 to view a Census record.

As an older person on a limited budget (called a pension)  :D
A full subscription isn't an option. Nor is visiting Kew as I'm in West Devon, health not so good and a full time carer for my bed bound partner.
So, individual pay-per-view would suit me most, but I'd like to know the transcriptions bare some resemblance to the original.
I've come across some howlers over the years.

As for lobbying...... Does that ever work?  ::)
