Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for relatives of Flight Sergeant William Edmund Davies - Gunner - Roral Artillery - Service Number 926615

Son of William and Susanah Davies; husband of Phyllis Davies, of Brynmawr.

The private memorial marking the grave of Gunner Davies no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a  headstone to mark his grave.

Just wondering if this should be in Monmouthshire or Brecknockshire, Sandra. Neither of the places mentioned were in Montgomeryshire. Was he originally from that county?

A possible daughter birth registered  Crickhowell March 1/4 1939 vol 11b/81

There are many other births Davies mmn Pugh 1938 - 1942 but this is the only one in Crickhowell
