My big sister circa 1945
« on: Thursday 10 December 20 19:10 GMT (UK) »
Like Carol, I tend not to restore my own family photos and as the board is a bit slow, here's one from me.

This is a photo of a pic of my big sister who died a few years ago.  I think it was take around the time that I was born.

I remember it in the family photo album and I'm sure I scanned it but I can't find the scan. Her daughter has taken a pic of it. It's not brilliant but I would be grateful if you could attempt a tidy.

No colour please.

Thanks

Thank you for taken the time, japeflakes. You've got rid of that nasty orange-y yellow color cast.  I remember that the original was B&W. I think my niece must have got the white balance wrong. The whole batch that she sent (including some of me) have got that cast  :-\

Thank you, John. You've brightened her up  :)

We were alike in parts, Carol  :)  I was curly auburn with blue eyes and she was more wavy light brown with hazel eyes. The shape of our eyes, nose and mouths were different too.  She was 3 inches smaller than me  ;D
