John MALLING occupation
« on: Friday 11 December 20 04:05 GMT (UK) »
Hello,
Would someone be able to tell me what John MALLING's occupation is please? This is from his marriage to Julia BROWN in 1854 at Stepney. On the 1871 it is warehouseman, and on his daughter's marriage in 1884 she says he is a carman (if I have the correct man  :) ).

Thanks in advance.

I think both he and his father have:  Ironmonger

Compare to the bride's father who is a Fishmonger.

Thank you all, I think you might be right with "ironmonger".  :)
