Martin Hendrick
« on: Sunday 13 December 20 07:01 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to find the birth records for a Martin Hendrick supposedly born about 1916 in Newcross, Wexford, Ireland.  Parents Cathleen and Patrick.  He married into the Handley family and then lived around Dorset, UK.

What I have so far is his marriage, wife details, wife's parents and children.
I've looked in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England for his birth and haven't found anything that would fit.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I need his parent details confirmed to know whether or not he is my family tree or not.

Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated.

Not sure as that is all his granddaughter has given me.

I think I see the record you mean in 1911 New Ross - parents for this are Mary Blanche and John Hanrick.

His marriage was in 1939 Aldershot, Hampshire UK.  Any records I can view don't list the parents or witnesses.

I'm beginning to wonder if Martin was his middle name.

Firstly, I can’t see a birth  :-\

There is this marriage
https://www.rootschat.com/links/01q46/

Patrick Hendrick and Catherine Culleton

Added
The surname can be found as Hendrick/Henrick and Handrick/Hanrick

I would be very interested in any thing you find.
Has the grandaughter taken a DNA test?

There is a published tree with different parents and place of birth.

You maybe looking at my tree.  Is there a question mark beside Martin's name?

I've also looked at the record you mention and that Patrick was a widower.

The Hendrick - Culleton marriage produced 2 girls from what I can see.

That’s what I have found and the marriage on your tree doesn’t seem to have a son, Martin.

What details does the marriage certificate have for Martin’s father? Did the Hendrick/Handley marriage take place in a Catholic Church?

The marriage took place in July - Sept 1939 Aldershot Hampshire.  Hendrick & Handley.   It is just the registration index.

I'm not sure where to look to get more details without ordering certificate.
