Henry Bratley born 1868 Binbrook, Lincs

Hi there

I've found Henry BRATLEY in census records, and the 1939 Register has has birth date as 14 Feb 1868, but I can't find any birth or baptism records for him.

Can anyone help with this?!

I can see a Henry bratley born 1868 in Louth on the 1881 census.

GRO has an Albert Henry registered Louth district but it is in September quarter

1871 has the same family but Caroline & Henry are listed as Brumpton and grandchildren of David & Mary A Bratley

I am so confused that I am going to get off now!

I think Mary Ann was a Bratley by birth, married William Brumpton 1843 and then David Bratley 1848.
Her Father was a David Bratley also.
She was bapt 26 Feb 1826 to David/Ann, Ann likely nee LEARY married 12 Nov 1821

I can't see Henry G(rundy) Brumpton after that 1871 census.  There is another Henry Brumpton born the same year bn South Willingham -parents Christopher & Eliza (nee East)

It certainly looks as though he was known as Henry Bratley after the 1871 census.  I can't see a baptism in Binbrook registers for a Henry Bratley / Grundy or Brumpton.  It looks as though you will need to get that birth certificate
