I agree...if she was age 66 years old when she died, then this was most likely not long before she died.

Yes you did Gadget...but if I hadn't known her Dod, I would have put her in her 70s.

I see she died in 1956. The photo of her looks very mind-1950s to me.  I wonder why people seemed to age faster in those days than we have? I suppose it would be improvement in health and social conditions, no WW2 worries, etc.   I do think that those of us born 1945-50 are the luckiest by far.
