Boris's 4.00 broadcast today 19 December 2020
« on: Saturday 19 December 20 16:30 GMT (UK) »
Anything we didn't guess?
Will people really take notice?
Why were people allowed to think mixing would be fine?
Why can't they say, if they don't know?
-and remember, there are lies, damn lies, and statistics, and we all know that.
Laure Keunssberg (sorry, not sure of spelling) is a gem! More power to her microphone.

I didn't listen to it so have had to look it up on the BBC News app. So tiers one to three can meet for Christmas day only? I envisage chaos or anarchy in response to this. So many people will have already made travel arrangements, that in itself will take some unpicking for those on public transport.

And as for London going into tier 4 - why weren't they put into tier 3 before this?

Apologies if I've got any of this wrong, I haven't read it in depth.

It's the "Do NOT walk on the grass" syndrome.

! Almost made me laugh there, and absolutely nothing about this world-wide shambles can manage that!

I hate London, it is a rubbish place work (been there done that) and as for moving around, it sucks.

So it is not surprising that Covid rates have exploded.

Rubbish management by a rubbish Government.

But hey, you Tories voted Boris the Bad in and you Londoners knew just what he was like as Mayor so you must take the blame.

Remember the Private Eye headline, The Buffoon Has Landed.

Just how right was that?

When speaking of NOT relaxing at New Year, he 'mis-spoke' and moved the New Year by one month to 'the 31st January'. So we all get an extra month to celebrate Christmas! :-\

I wish people would stop saying "Christmas is cancelled"  >:( - it's not cancelled...it's just going to be different this year for everyone...not the Christmas we are all used to.

Happy Christmas everyone  :D
