which website for deaths at sea?
« on: Sunday 20 December 20 10:45 GMT (UK) »
Hi
Can anybody point me in the right direction as to which website I might find deaths at sea on? The date I'm looking at is 1862. One of the family trees on ancestry records a person of interest as having died at sea in Indonesia in 1862. I don't want to bother the tree owner by messaging them, but they have not included a source, and I'd like to look for myself if possible. I've never had to look this up before - a death at sea - even though I've been researching for years. So any help anybody can give me would be most appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for that. I'll try National newspapers but this death seems to have occurred in Indonesia.

This is the best set but doesn't include all:
