Help dating photo. Mary Martin Manchester UK

Could anyone help date this photo of my ancestor, possibly Mary Martin born 1879 or possibly her mother?

I would say this was mid-late 1890s possibly into the early 1900s. Lovely photo. It always helps the dating process when you post the whole photo with surround including the back.

I am attaching the whole front and back - does this help narrow it down? Looks as though thr bottom was cut off at some point.

Agree with Carol re 1890s. and probably mid 1890s.

She will be a young girl in terms of age, as her hair is still worn down - and what strikes me is what a constrictive corset she must have been wearing even so

She looks about 16 or 17, which would tie in with a mid 1890s date.

Thank you for all the responses - very helpful. That fits in with it being Mary Martin and not her mother and 16 or 17 looks right too, so mid 1890's would be spot on.
