« on: Tuesday 22 December 20 08:43 GMT (UK) »
Statistic information that possibly some of us would like to know.?

Last month's statistics's for most common cause of death in England was not Covid. Heart Disease and Alzheimer's were the main causes. Covid is not even in the top 20. It's at 24.

Statistics are a good tool, as long as they are not misused.

ONS report doesn't support the OP's claim.

Add - table from report - sourced in my first post

ONS:

What is your source?

Very interesting! I suppose the conclusion that you could draw is that, as nearly all other death causes are down, that people with underlying health conditions are more likely to die from Covid.  The other two interesting figures are that those who died with undefined cause is slightly up - that could be Covid without a  test?  The Covid precautions would appear to have affected the deaths by flu - which can only be good!

That's interesting, a section for "ill-defined conditions"
Especially as "I don't have angina, it's probably indigestion" last time I saw a cardiologist, but I've been kept on meds for angina (just in case) 😏

So fewer people have died from other causes.

Identify those at risk, vaccinate them, should not take more than a week, and in a month the problem will have gone away.

We will still die of course, because that is life, but everyone else ca go back to normal..

A whole year has rolled by, spring, summer, autumn and now winter,  we are certainly no better off and possibly worse off, the medicine is not working, it is time for a new approach.
