John Brooks Crowe, born 30th July, 1795 Norfolk

Rootschat Family:

I am searching for the parents of a John Brooks Crowe,  born on the 30th July, 1795 in Norfolk. I have been unable to ascertain his parents or any generations before him. He was a graduate of Cambridge and he earned his MA in Theology and became a regimental Vicar in Jamaica. He then moved to Central Ontario and was granted 400 acres. Any help in this would be appreciated. He died on April 5th, 1869 in Trenton, Ontario.

That information was from a transcript, the image from the parish register for the marriage is available to view on FindMyPast.  They both signed the register and the signatures appear to me as being spelt as per the transcript

Was the church they were married in, All Saints in Catfield?

Register entry indicates that it was the 'Parish Church' of Catfield.   This would normally indicate that it was the C of E church
