George Elton's parents

I've just found a potential marriage for Jemima, but this is all I've found for her so far.

Sept Q 1865
Elton    Jemima        Brentford    3a   105
White    George        Brentford    3a   105

Father David (surname is not clear, and her surname has been altered from Helton to Elton)

As far as I can see, David Elton/Helton doesn't seem to exist. Please feel to prove me wrong!

Hi, suspect that marriage could be a a diversion from your search. Robert Goose & Jemima were having children from 1854-1869 in Chertsey.

The 3 children in bold were registered as Taylor's but with no mmn. The 1851 shows a gap of 7 years between Jemima and Maria so I suspect there's been a name change during this period.

Jemima's aged of 12 in 1851 and 22 in 1861 indicates a dob of c1838/9 so the 1833 baptism found is a little early??

George ELTON and Eliza HEARN lived at The Green, West Drayton in 1861 and 1871.  If you wanted to prove definitely that the death in 1869 was their son George then it should be obvious from information on the death cert.
