Antonia Ann Ortega born Gibraltar

Hi

I am trying to find out more about Antonia Ann Ortega. She was born c1829 and died 1888. 

She married William Thomas Jackson in Gibraltar in 1856 and according to her marriage certificate her parents were Didacus Ortega and augustina Ogeda.

I also know she had a daughter Anna born 1849 (probably not william’s) and two other children between 1849-1856 but I haven’t idea of their names or where they were born.

I would like to find out where Antonia was born and where her parents were born and also more details about her three children born ? Gibraltar.  I have details of her children to William Jackson.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi. Thank you. Yes I did find this site but unfortunately no sign of Antonia or her parents. Later census records suggest she was born in Gibraltar but I can’t be sure her parents were.

William Jackson, 30, Bachelor, parents: Thomas & Elizabeth Bowen?
Antonia Ortega 30, Spinster, parents: Didacus & Augustina Ogeda
Witness: William King, Catherine Ortega

found on an online tree. document is a 1984 transcript.
Antonia's mother's name may be Ojeda, rather than Ogeda?

Thank you for your message. I do have a copy of the marriage certificate and have actually visited the cathedral in Gibraltar. It’s a beautiful place but unfortunately that’s where my trail runs cold.

However I hadn’t considered the alternative spelling of the mother’s surname so will see if that takes me anywhere.
