That's my Pa-in-Law, on his mother's lap.  His father died when Pa-i-L was only ten.  Pa-i-L was born in 1907; another brother, Donald, came along in 1913;  so I guess this was taken in about 1911 ?  Any advance ?

But the pic is so faded you hardly notice him - I have split the pic  into two
So it would be lovely if a Magician would be so kind as to wave his / her magic wand.

It's a pity that the poor mother's eyes are so - erm - weary ? 
But with three small children . . .well, *I* can understand her haggard look !

In my experience the one with toy is the one who is most likely to play up, especially if he/she happens to be of a certain age.
