Crossan/Crosson/ brothers Glengad Donegal Ireland
« on: Tuesday 29 December 20 15:37 GMT (UK) »
Hello Roots friends.

As I am new to you I would appreciate any assistance in tracing the following Crossan brothers (spelling variant)

(1) Michael was born Glentoskert Glengad Malin Donegal in 1971--Father Patrick-mother Ellen Kelly (cant find civil birth record but found baptism in Clonca parish Derry Diocese for 1871)

(2)  Patrick Crossan Born 1878 (same place) (same parents) again can't find civil birth but found baptism record again in Clonca parish.

I have extensively searched for any additional info on their advanced life ie Census imigration etc without success.

I would appreciate any assistance and perhaps I can return the favour at some stage in the future.

Thanks summer18

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

Can't help with the birth records........don't see them on https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

However, for reference here's the townland of Glengad in which Glentoskert is situated.

The Google Maps reference for Glentoskert.

its a big enough family that if Patrick has died could there be enough similarities to look at some similarities exist in 1901 census for two adjoining homesteads
