We get some interesting topics h RC, I just like to get stuck into something and try to find an answer, sometimes one just cannot fathomit  out when there is no answer, why do people just disappear and why do some just evade the census man when he cometh, BUT 1921 census is now a little nearer, can't wait

Just to agree with everyone and hope that 2021 will be a lot better that 2020.

Looking back on Christmas these are just a few things that were different this year.

Christmas 2020

Due to lockdown Joseph and Maria were not allowed to travel as they lived in a tier 4 zone

Which didn’t matter anyway as the inn is closed until further notice as it is classed as a non-essential business

The three wise men worked from home

The shepherds weren’t watching their flocks by night all seated on the ground. They were all in Denmark slaughtering Covid infected mink

Hark the herald angels sing. But you couldn’t bloodywell hark because the choir of angels message was totally unintelligable as they were all wearing triple layer facemasks

Christmas presents may be delayed until Easter as no more than 8 elves were allowed in Santa’s workshop at any one time

Santa belonged to a risk group and was not allowed to travel

Rudolph with his red nose was in quarantine until he could be tested

Happy Covid Christmas!!

I just heard on the news that Disney studios will be releasing a new version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in which Sneezy will at all times wear a triple layer facemask.

 :) ;D ;)

Another light hearted attempt. I'm a useless poet at any time but here goes anyway.

This should be sung to the tune of the ABBA song Take a chance on me. With apologies to Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.

Take your shot with me

When it’s vaccine time
I’m the first in line
Honey, if it’s free
Just give it to me

I will do my very best
Not to get too close
Till I’ve had a negative test
And the second dose

Take your shot with me

If you’re all alone
in a tier four zone
Honey if it’s free
Take your shot with me

Gonna do my very best
To get a negative test
Then I won’t stay at home
I’ll be free to roam

We can go shopping
We can go walking
And we can be together
Go to the shops that’s swell
And to the pub as well
Everything will be much better

’Cause you know we’ve got
So much that we wanna do
When I dream it’s not just us two
It’s magic

We can travel anywhere
Without a single care
But I think you know
Then we can go

When it’s vaccine time
I’m the first in line
Honey, if it’s free
Just give it to me

I will do my very best
Not to get too close
Till I’ve had a negative test
And the second dose

Take your shot with me

A Happy New Year from me too

Fingers crossed that 2021 is much better than 2020 and 2019 which were my horrible years.

I love the poem “Go Placidly” it’s alway spoken to me.

Happy Covid Free New Year to you all, my great friends!  You're my daily 'tot-of-whisky' or 'minha cachacinha' as they say in Brazil.   Thank you for all your help, fun stories and scam warnings.  You are all, just the very BEST!   ;)
