:D I don't know where to start....but WOW THANK YOU.
I have pondered and searched for hours on end, not getting anywhere despite having subs with Ancestry and FindMyPast.
Thank you very much indeed for taking the time to help with this, I am truly grateful.
I shall enter details given into my tree and see where it goes.
Happy New Year and a massive Welsh (socially distanced) Cwtsh to you.

if you're on FindmyPast, you can access scans of many, but not all, parish records from Wales. The records have recently gone onto Ancestry as well, but their indexing leaves much to be desired, which makes searching the more common surnames a bit of a task.
If the parish record of a marriage is available after the start of civil registration, it could save you the cost of the marriage certificate as there will be no more info on the cert and the scan of the register should have the signatures which a certificate from the GRO doesn't.

I'm not finding baptisms for William & Anne's children so the family might be non-conformist by that time.

Many thanks again, my tree is both on FindMyPast and Ancestry. The hints are coming in since I have put the details you provided and all is coming together nicely. Many thanks again fro your help with this stumbling block.
I can't see the details of the sons who went to USA because I'm too tight to pay the extra haha. Maybe will do this :)
Thanks to you both for all your expert support.

I don't think the tree has this link, there is a death certificate for William, same birth date etc, death recorded as 7 Jul 1926, thought you might have found it now you have more info but just in case
