Quorn electoral registers, residential or commercial directories

Hi

Does anyone know if there are available online any electoral registers, residential or commercial directories that would cover the area in and around Quorn for the period 1935 to 1940? I am looking for specifically Queenie and James Henry Wallis, possibly sweet or grocery shop owners.

The Leicester site doesn't seem to have any directories for Leicestershire  The old site only goes up to 1910

1938  James & Queenie , 774 & 775 have a cafe on high street

We can't give details of the 39 register but they had moved from Quorn.

Thanks David. I have them on the 39 register, and I'm waiting for a copy of the Will. I found the Quorn connection in a newspaper report of another relative's funeral. I don't think they were there for too long as they were back in Market Harborough by 1939.

It would be interesting to know where  The Cafe was in the High Street where they lived in Quorn. There's no house number on the ectoral roll

if we weren't in lock down I could go there myself!    i am not very far at all. Loughborough library might have more too but same problem.
