How do I edit a post?

I thought it used to be possible to edit posts, but that feature seems to have disappeared.

You can use the 'modify' button for 24 hours after you post, but its not available after that.

If it's after 24hrs, maybe you could quote your original in a new post and then make the corrections under the original, making it clear that it's a modification.

I was merely hoping to correct a typo in a recent post, but noticed that I don't appear to have a "Modify" button anywhere anymore.

I use it all the time for typos!

Top right of the post in question, next to 'Quote'.
But if the post is over 24 hours old it will not be there.

In that case I would assume that the post is too 'old' to have one.
