Salfords, Redhill
« on: Saturday 02 January 21 22:18 GMT (UK) »
Hi, happy new year

I've been told there are air raid shelters in Salfords which belonged to The Monotype and are still there although derelict.
My great grandmother used to work for The Monotype during the 2nd World War and I would be interested in knowing about the shelters.
Would anyone know anything about them as I can't find anything online at all about them?
Thank you for any information

Have you looked for a local history group for Salfords that may be able to help you with your specific request?

e.g.  https://www.surreycc.gov.uk/culture-and-leisure/local-history-centres/redhill
