Do you know if it has any differences/revisions to more recent versions of the CD? I have the 2015 version of the CD so I'm unsure if it's worth downloading the PDFs.

I imagine it is the 2015 database, I have the v2 CD & it looks very much the same. I have not heard that the Society is updating it with years after 1852. You don't need to download the PDFs to use the data, they open up a new window on your browser.
