I looked at the scans on ancestry. The ecclesiastical parish is Hall Street so maybe the parish was the field for the transcriber rather than the street address?

Wow thanks for your help - this will get me started in the right direction!

I am wondering - are death certificates / causes of death available anywhere? Mary Roberts were only 33 and maybe she died in child bed?

You can get an emailed .pdf birth & death certificates from https://www.gro.gov.uk. You have to register first [for free] but certificates cost [off the top of my head] about 7. You need the GRO index reference, available from GRO index or freebmd.

Marriage certificates cost more as they are paper copies sent by post.
