I can see Dropsy but unable to make out main cause of death.

I know you've said this thread is completed, but actually there is one other thing there  - as you say, it also says Dropsy.

Dropsy was the term used for fluid retention. Now scarlet fever used to be connected with heart disease and with kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) so I wonder if this person developed kidney failure secondary to their scarlatina/scarlet fever. Nowadays the death certificate would be laid out differently to reflect this.
