Can anyone tell me if the Harleian Manuscripts are currently downloadable? I'm interested in a number of coats of arms etc.

I think you will have to consult them at the British Library, but there are a huge number of them, so you will need to find out which one(s) you need. There is a downloadable catalogue available which can help identifying which you may need to see.

Many thanks. I was trying to avoid a trip to London, and lockdown isn't helpful! I have the ref info & was hoping some of the manuscripts were online. Perhaps someone knows if they are?
