Callaghan/Goold
« on: Thursday 07 January 21 04:15 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find parents, siblings, births and deaths for my ggg.grandparents, John Callaghan and Mary Goold. They were married on the 27th February, 1838, John was a farmer in Cronody, Cork.

Any information would be appreciated.
Kind Regards

Hello Carol,
Here are some ideas for you.
These events occurred in Ovens parish https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0087

Looking at the baptisms of the children there are Goold and Callaghan Godparents. Have you listed these and tried to cross reference?
A witness to the marriage was Margaret Goold, for example.

Here are some Goolds and Callaghans  in Cronody /Cronoddy in Tithe Applotments registers.

This may not give you parents/siblings but you might get a core of names to work with.
