Thank you for your quick reply and attachment.  I have actual documents from the Surrey archives for both Sarah's stay at the asylum and burial information.  Information about Alfred and others can be found on my Ancestry public tree.  I am descended from Elijah and Emma's daughter Christina. Do you know when and under what circumstances John William Hoare came to Canada?  I have not yet found him on any passenger list.  Shirley

John William Hoare military file with Canadian Expeditionary Force is available on Ancestry.  It is in my public Ancestry tree Sturdevant Van Horne. Shirley
