I havent looked in any detail, but in 1871 Isabella Fraser's PoB is given as Black Hall Mill, so this looks like her baptism at Ebchester:

Isabel Ward of Blackhall Mill born born 3 Jan 1803 baptised 27 Feb 1803, 2nd(?) daughter of Geo Ward, Forgeman native of Blackhall Mill, Ryton Parish by his wife Ann Charlton native of Broad Oak, daughter of Thomas Charlton.

I don't have time to look any further at the moment, but other children appear to be:

1798 Thomas
1800 George
1805 Dorothy
1807 John
1810 William

ADDED also

1813 Charleton

Thank you. I’m not sure these are my people. Can I ask, are you just looking on ancestry?

Ancestry has a transcription, but I'm looking on FindMyPast.

If you're certain that the Ann Ward with Isabella Fraser/Frazer is 'your' Ann, then surely they have to be "your people" somewhere down the line?

Grandaughter may be the wrong relationship, as Isabella Ward was a spinster when she married Alexander Fraser in 1837.

Or is your Ann Ward elsewhere in 1861?

Looking at the 1851 census for the Lanchester Workhouse, Hannah Ward / Waird gives her PoB as Medomsley, and there is this baptism at Medomsley (from the Bishop's Transcript):

18 Jun 1826 Hannah illegitimate daughter of Hannah Ward, Allendale
MORGAN: Glamorgan, Durham, Ohio. DAVIS/DAVIES/DAVID: Glamorgan, Ohio.  GIBSON: Leicestershire, Durham, North Yorkshire.  RAIN/RAINE: Cumberland.  TAYLOR: North Yorks. BOURDAS: North Yorks. JEFFREYS: Worcestershire & Northumberland. FORBES: Berwickshire, CHEESMOND: Durham/Northumberland. WINTER: Durham/Northumberland. SNOWBALL: Durham.

I know so the latter baptism record would make it that a Hannah ward had an illegitimate Hannah ward In Allendale cottages Medomsley who went on to have an illegitimate Ann and Elizabeth Ward in lanchester workhouse.
