St Thomas is  C of E.

I'm not sure of the churches and chapels of  other denominations in the area.

Ok, well I have Cicely Mansell born 1/1/1839 Howe Street and her sister Mary Ann born 22/12/1840. Their parents are Thomas and Mary. I would have searched for their baptisms on Ancestry ages ago and not found them, but now I have their birth certificates I know where they were born. I do have most of the Birmingham Parish baptisms images because I have scanned them all from the library. St Thomas is one of those parishes I don't have though. Mary did die in 1842 aged 1 in Coleshill. Elizabeth was born after Mary and she was baptised at Coleshill. George was born before Cicely when they lived in Winchcombe and he was baptised so I would have thought Cicely and Mary would have been baptised. Alan

You asked for Birmingham parishes. Coleshill is not under Birmingham.

https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/WAR/Coleshill

No results for Sun or Howe street in Coleshill in 1841 or 1851.

No Gadget I don't need any Coleshill baptisms, I was just pointing out that their children either side of the two Birmingham births which were Winchcombe and Coleshill were baptised so I was thinking that they would have not baptised Cicely and Mary Ann.

I've checked in both online sites that I have access to and don't see baptism records, although there are civil registrations for them.

Did they have any more children after Mary Ann? The reason I ask is that they may have decided that civil reg was enough. I have a family in my tree who were like that.

I have a list here from the Birmingham Library of the Parish records they have.

The only St Thomas baptism records they have are 1829 to 1948 St Thomas Bath Row.

ADDED  I have all the images from 1908 to 1961, I didn't scan the earlier ones pity.

from 1948 to 1961 they are Thomas and Immanuel
