Family Tree Book Printing! Best options?
« on: Friday 08 January 21 13:04 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

I'm gathering together and padding-out an existing (and quite extensive) family tree for a friend, and she'd like to get it bound into some kind of book to pass down through the family. Does anyone know of the easiest way to do this, which results in an attractive, quality book?

I know of MyCanvas accessed through Ancestry which seems to make things fairly easy, but I'm not totally in love with the style. I'm also not sure how well it would handle an extensive tree. I tried uploading mine to look at their demo and it just wouldn't work - seemed work fine for another friend's less detailed tree though.

I could lay it all out myself using Pages and then get it printed and bound, but that would take absolutely ages and be a huge faff. Does anyone know of any other websites/companies that build an attractive and readable layout for you using gedcom or other file formats, which can then be added to with more in-depth information?

Thanks,

Miriam
