Photo from attic dating will help identify Stevenson family member

This lady among photos in tin  of my aunt we can identify ones of my farther as a boy  andrecognise one macdermid aunt but not the others the grandma was close to her3 Stevenson sisters who stayed in scotland macdermids emigrated

Could they be same family.

Chrissy was 14 when she emigrated with.her brother abd sister.to america she was an umbrella maker in 1921

So I think it.must be a photo from.USA to brother

The photo actually.said Chrissy.and.MAY Macdermid on.back in my aunts handwriting

I would say they are both 1920s, I don't see a strong resemblance between the girl in the top photo to the other two girls. The girl in the first photo is unmarried as there is no evidence of  a ring.
Could May have been either a middle name or a shortening of another name Mable or similar?

There are no other possible names for siblings  I think it could be our Mary the sister in law .but could Chrissy be only 14 ?

There are photos on profiles and in gallery of Chrissy and sis Agnes but none of the other sister Jeannie


There are ship records I have departure 1922 but note also says Christina residence Glasgow 1923

Yes I would say so, the two girls only look to be in their early teens.

Her son died when the grandson was born .great grandson DNA match to aunt new nothing of this generation and had no photos
