You haven’t given any indication of dates for Martin.
There is one here in the published censuses - born about 1837/8
1901
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Mayo/Achill/Salia/1601953/
1911

Could this be him or the same family?

Civil registration did not begin until 1864.
This is a useful site
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp
It is free but you have to sign in and prove you are not a robot
Here is a death for an aged Martin in 1921

If this isn’t your man, other details might help us to help you.

Thank you all for your help.i have viewed the census and the Martin Fadian that died in 1921 is a relative. Im looking for 1980s but dont know which year. I will try all your suggestions and hopefully get some success.Thank you once again

If you are looking for more recent records, you won’t find them online.
Here is the coverage on Irish Genealogy
https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/civil-records/help/what-civil-records-are-on-line
You would need to apply for the death certificate, otherwise.
More information here
https://www.rootschat.com/links/01q7d/
You could look for:
a death announcement/obituary online or newspaper
a local cemetery record
Parish newsletters often carry anniversary mass announcements
