This is  last known address of Thomas, 184 Earl St,Scotstoun,on 21 Sept 1955, Would like to know other residents at that time,
Also possible death in 1960,according to army records,
He served in Royal Field Artilleryin w w 1,no was 826595.

Found a marriage on SP of Thomas McPherson and Georgina Wilson on 17 Feb 1938.He was listed as a widower so obviously a previous marriage exists.Any help appreciated.

Does the death record you have only name Georgina Wilson?

Full name on death cert and marriage cert is Georgina Stark Wilson.

Presume he is the 75yr old so birthyear approx 1885.   Have you looked for him on the Scottish 1911 census when he would be around 26yrs old to check if he was married? 

His parents should be named on his death cert which will help you to determine the correct previous marriage.  His death was registered in Govan & there is a possible marriage in Govan in 1909.  Spouse has 2 surnames - Spratt & Stewart so may have been previously married

What is your relationship to him?  If you know of any children born to his first marriage their birth certs will show mothers name & maiden name

Thomas McPherson  married Elizabeth Stewart nee Spratt.
Date is 11 May 1909 in Govan.
Now to look for children Unfortunately I am not related,doing this for a friend.

P.s a son signed the death cert of Thomas but I can,t read it.possibly James  D but I suppose surname could be Stewart or McPherson
