I really can’t understand why so many people find it so difficult to wear a mask for the short time they are shopping or as someone else said there are visors available if you have problems.
I agree 100%.
When I was in the RAF we would often have to wear a gas mask for days at a time.
Eating and drinking - 3 quick lungfuls, exhale fully, inhale fully, at same time ready food or drink, lift mask, swiftly drink or take mouthful, lower mask, chew and swallow, exhale with force, 3 standard breaths then repeat.
Showering - Hold mask on face with non-dominant hand, pull straps forward off back of head while keeping mask in place, wet head and apply shampoo, wash hair and rinse, pull straps back and shower normally keeping mask out of the spray.
Brushing teeth - Like eating and drinking.
Shaving - That is an adventure! But necessary, 2 days of beard growth will break the mask seal.
Sleeping - Modified recovery position, try not to sleep on back.
In fact I had sex on two occasions, wearing only a gas mask - what a hopeless romantic I was in those days!
And today people can't wear a piece of tissue paper, that weighs nothing, for the short while it takes to buy a packet of cigarettes. I despair!
