Surely if supermarkets was an issue then all the staff would be going down like flies.
I have seen only one report of an outbreak in a supermarket.

Boris has made it clear, it’s socialising that spreads it. Do not chat.  Do not chat on the doorstep, you may walk with one person but you may not socialise with that person.

Everyone will get a jab locally says Matt Hancock, nobody will have to travel more than ten miles, so ten miles is considered local.

Our local sainsburys here had an outbreak, 3 out of 4 staff tested positive.
They don't like that info getting out as it puts eople off using the store

I think it is right that I should take my share of the risk, as long as I do everything I can to protect others.

My daughter is currently working at a McDonald’s, they appear to have at least 2 people away every week, although with a shift system it may be more.

I have never quite understood the usefulness of visors. Are they to protect the wearer or others? We are told that masks are to protect others?
I have given up wearing my glasses with a mask; luckily my sight is good enough without to get by. I just have to remember to put them back on to drive!

If this is the case and the stores stick to the policy, I have no doubt whatsoever it won't be long before the BBC will be speaking to a peeved individual who feels they have been wronged because  they weren't allowed into a store due to a failure to wear a mask.

I posted some links to visor research on an earlier thread. The general conclusion seems to be that visors are not a good substitute for a face mask.

Facemasks - Which test results

As for glasses fogging up, the following nose clips have worked OK for me, albeit not 100%. They slide over the mask, keeping it closer to your face. They work much the same as the bendable metal strip but as they're plastic they keep their shape. They're best suited for thinner masks and can be difficult to put onto cloth masks.
