Hannah Ward: Born in Acomb, York in 1840

I am having difficulty in finding information on Hannah Ward.
She was born in Acomb, York in 1840.
Her father was Joseph Ward, a butcher by trade, and was married to Elizabeth Grainger.

In the 1841 Census, she is 1 year old and living with her family in Back Lane, Acomb.
In the 1851 Census, she is 10 years old and living with her grandmother in Gayle Lane, Acomb.
There are no other records for Hannah, although there is a possible death of a Hannah Ward in JFM 1919 in York.

Any help to locate more information will be appreciated.

In that 1851 census, is her grandmother's son, John, her uncle then? Had her parents died?

FindMyPast has a burial record for a Hannah Ward of Fetter Lane, aged 12 (St Mary Bishophill Junior, City of York); 16 Jun 1852.

Her father died in 1900 and her mother died in 1899.
The burial record sounds possible as Joseph Ward and his family were living in Fetter Lane in the 1851 Census and she was 10 years old at the time.
