Tebly Price

Wander if someone could help.  On the 1881 census Emma and Bartholomew Price have a daughter called Tebly born 1878 Shrewsbury.  Cannot find any other record for Tebly.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Should of mentioned Mother's maiden name was Bolter

Have a look on the GRO birth index for female Price/Bolter births c1878 Shrewsbury and you may well find the name was something else.

Presume there is no 13 year old daughter with them in 1891?

Yes well that bright idea didn't pan out - can't find anything like a birth registration for her 

Or a death before 1891 how strange and she isn't on 1891 with Bart & Emma.

Probably not but could she possibly be a granddaughter instead as parents are 45/46 and only married in 1874 so one or other may have previously married?

Yes Milliepede  I had tried that using different methods eg leaving her first name out etc with no result.

Nope stumped on that one I'm afraid, even tried looking for male births in case daughter was wrong but nothing.

Hopefully someone else will have better luck.

I’m away from my tree at the moment but Bartholomew Price from Shropshire is in my tree with Tebly. But I should be able to look at the weekend.  My tree comes from Bartholomew’s younger brother Richard.
